Administrative Assistant for Education Manager

Job Summary:

CIC is looking for an Administrative Assistant with excellent communication, organizational and customer relationship skills to work closely with the Education Manager and Education Team. The Administrative Assistant will have hands-on responsibility for scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling information requests, coordinating training assignments as well as reviewing and approving communication to CIC’s customers and CIC staff.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist Education Manager by scheduling internal and external meetings and conference calls, and maintaining complex calendars as needed.

  • Produce accurate, appropriately formatted documents and correspondence.

  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and provide recommendations on and implement policy and process improvement opportunities.

  • Plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within a prescribed time frame. These projects may include administrative, report analysis, providing customer follow-up for implementation tasks, etc.

  • Manage scheduling of CIC’s training resources.

Required Skills:

  • Relevant professional work experience. Five (5) years or more relevant experience preferred.

  • Candidate must have experience in Microsoft Office environment and tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with executive level management, customers and internal staff.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

  • Attention to detail, thoroughness and high level of accountability.

  • Handle confidential information with complete integrity.

Bonus Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in working with K-12 Education software products

Education Account Coordinator

This position is a telecommuting / remote employment position however prospective employees must be located in one of CIC’s territory states – CO, IA, IL, KS, MO, NE

Job Summary:

The Education Account Coordinator position is responsible for managing the ongoing relationship of CIC’s customers, focusing on customer retention.  Education Account Specialists work with post-go live K-12 School District customers to manage expectations, resolve conflicts, lead ongoing status meetings, coordinate and schedule training and programming resources, and assist in sales activities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with school district main point of contact, as well as executive-level management / K-12 district leadership.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, deliverables, timelines and requirements for post-go-live services (training and custom development).

  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and provide recommendations on and implement policy and process improvement opportunities.

  • Establish meeting agendas in advance of status meetings; coordinate attendees and their contributions/deliverables for each meeting; manage meeting times and topics; at the end of each meeting, document and communicate decisions made, what action items are due and by whom, when the next meeting will occur.

  • Educate and encourage full-potential use of the Infinite Campus and Tableau software products in order to maximize customer retention.

  • Identify areas of improvement and prescribe solutions to district software issues.This includes making recommendations for purchase of additional premium products and services.

  • Assist sales and marketing team in arranging demonstrations, establishing stakeholders and closing sales.

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Accounting, Secondary Education, or Equivalent Experience

  • Proven experience in managing relationships with multiple customers

  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with executive level management / K-12 school district leadership.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time worked

Salary Range:

$60,000 to $77,500 / year depending on experience and qualifications, plus commissions on sale of additional products and services

Education PEOPLEWARE Support Coordinator

This position is a telecommuting / remote employment position however prospective employees must be located in one of CIC’s territory states – CO, IA, IL, KS, MO, NE

Job Summary:

CIC is looking for Peopleware Support Coordinators with excellent communication and people skills to support our web-based student management software for K-12 School Districts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Learn CIC’s products (Infinite Campus and Tableau) and act as a Support Resource for CIC’s Customer Help Desk system.

  • Resolve an average of 10 – 15 Support Calls per day with an average response time of 35 minutes or less and an average resolution time of 35 minutes or less. 

  • Ensure that customer support calls are handled in a timely manner and do not lie stagnant for more than 72 business hours.

  • Ensure that less than 10% of total calls are escalated to external resources.

  • Handle / resolve after hours support calls as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Secondary Education, Accounting or equivalent experience required

  • 1-2 years of Technical Support experience • Knowledge of Servers or PC networking

  • Candidate must have experience in Microsoft Office environment and tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff.

Salary Range:

$37,500 to $55,500 / year depending on experience and qualifications 

Education Training Specialist

This position is a telecommuting / remote employment position however prospective employees must be located in one of CIC’s territory states – CO, IA, IL, KS, MO, NE

Job Summary:

The Education Training Specialist position is responsible for delivery expert online and in-person training and consulting to educators, administrators and technical users of Infinite Campus and Tableau.  This exciting and challenging position will provide you with an outlet to exercise your passion for training and presenting and put you in a position to directly impact the lives of educators and students.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training via online tools and in-person to K-12 School District customers

  • Document and communicate issues reported in training by customers and escalate as appropriate 

  • Consult and provide "outside of the box" solutions to complex customer problems

  • Assist with CIC's Customer Service Support Helpdesk, when not conducting training

Required Skills:

  • Technologically savvy

  • Flexibility, agility, and quick-learner work style

  • Degree in Accounting, Secondary Education, or Equivalent Experience

  • 3-5 Years' experience in the K-12 education industry and/or corporate training

Government Peopleware Coordinator

This position is a telecommuting / remote employment position however prospective employees must be located in one of CIC’s territory states – CO, IL, KS, MO

Job Summary:

The Peopleware Coordinator position is responsible for managing customer software implementations for small to large
City and County customers. Peopleware Coordinators / Specialists work with the Customers and CIC Management to
achieve implementation expectations, resolve conflicts, coordinate and schedule training and bring customers to go-live on
our products.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Transition Planning Meetings with CIC Resource Development / Marketing staff and Customers

  • Develop and manage Transition Plans based on project budgets, deliverables, timelines and requirements.

  • Demonstrate strong decision making and communication skills.

  • Monitor installation and training for customer satisfaction and resolve project scheduling and customer conflicts

  • Deliver training via online tools and in-person to customers

  • Document and communicate issues reported in training by customers and escalate as appropriate

  • Respond and resolve customer software issues via CIC’s Customer Service Support Helpdesk when not conducting training

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or Equivalent Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with executive level management as well as City and County Government leadership.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
